Acolyte Training is a time for our preteens to learn how to serve in worship by assisting with lighting candles, carrying the cross, and helping lead the congregation in a meaningful way. During this training, preteens will learn the history and purpose of being an acolyte, practice the responsibilities step by step, and gain confidence in their role. Serving as an acolyte is more than just a task—it’s an opportunity to grow in faith, take part in worship leadership, and set an example for others.
